About this coffee

Reza’s Purple Honey Liberica is a distinctive yeast-fermented honey-processed coffee that highlights the exotic character of the Liberica variety. After an extended fermentation in water with a specially selected yeast combination, the coffee is dried with part of its mucilage still intact. This honey-style drying allows natural sugars to remain on the bean, building deeper sweetness and a syrupy texture.

Warning: This is not an Arabica coffee.

Liberica has a fundamentally different taste profile. It's delicious and worth exploring. Don't expect this to taste like "regular" coffee.

The final cup is bold and vibrant, offering rich fruit complexity, layered fermentation-driven aromas, and an intense sweetness that makes this Liberica both unique and unforgettable.

Pricing breakdown

For each bag sold, we trace the money as far as we reasonably can: from payments at origin, through processing, transport and importing, to the costs of roasting and selling the coffee. We believe there is value in sharing this information, while framing it with the necessary care.

The numbers below are based on a 250 g bag size.

The remainder covers investments, expenses and donations

We apply fixed margins based on our cost. For retail, that's 65%; for wholesale that's 40%; rounded up to the next decimal. In numbers, if a coffee costs us €10, retail pricing is €28,60; wholesale is €16,70. For this particular coffee, at this pricing, we retain €19,17. This covers taxes, allows us to invest in coffee and materials, and donate to our beneficiaries.

If you bought this coffee through any other platform, the only number that can vary is how much is going to us and how much is going to the seller.

Final total: €29,60

About the producer, Reza Nurullah

Reza Nurullah’s story is one in a million. There were periods in his life when he struggled with drug addiction and lived on the streets, without a way forward. That makes it all the more remarkable that in 2025 he was awarded “Most Influential Producer Indonesia” at JICC. His motto, “Your opinion is not my reality,” is not marketing. It is lived experience. Reza is approachable, calm, alert, always a few steps ahead. Coffee and working with nature are a healing source of inspiration for him, he says. Today, his impact reaches far beyond his family and his village. He is shaping a whole generation of producers around the globe. His path from the street to the summit of coffee is not a metaphor. It is a film-worthy reality, carried by discipline, curiosity, and the steady, unshakable passion of a truly singular person.
