Human Coffee is a non-profit specialty coffee roastery from Mechelen, Belgium.
We sell ethically sourced, light roasted coffee, roasted on a ROEST P3000 using renewable energy.
Our mission
The specialty coffee industry is facing a ton of issues. Farmers are still living in poverty, climate change is affecting coffee harvests worldwide, the amount of water spent worldwide on washed is staggering, and so on.
It is our mission to be part of the solution rather than part of the problems, fixing the industry from the inside out. We source, roast and sell exceptional coffee with all profits dedicated to supporting the farmers who grow our coffee and initiatives that tackle the problems the specialty coffee industry faces.
Transparency
We are a registered non-profit organization, operated by volunteers. No decisions based on personal or shareholder profit. We want to be radically transparent.
Sustainability
We love specialty coffee. We'd love to still have affordable specialty coffee in the future. This requires focusing on economical, environmental and social sustainability.
Quality
We want to have a positive impact on the world and uphold exceptional quality standards. It's doesn't have to be either/or, it can be both.
